The Colossal Amal Shoot is a family photoshoot series organized by Colossal Weddings. It is an annual charity-driven family photoshoot aimed to spread kindness and happiness during the blessed month of Ramadhan to families in Singapore.

Here’s how it’s conducted:

  • Dates & Location: The shoot will be held over 10 days, from March 14th to 23rd, 2025, at The Colossal Studio, 2 Gambas Crescent in Singapore.

  • Public & Private: The slots are opened to public, and also to sponsors. There will be 10 slots each day, and each slot will be priced at $250, while sponsors can purchase an entire day of slots.

  • Session Duration: Each family will be scheduled for a 30-minute photoshoot session, with 15mins grace in the beginning to get ready, and 15mins grace after the shoot.

  • Deliverables: Each family will receive an online gallery with all the images shot during the session, immediately after the session.

  • Purpose: The event is organized to promote healthy family relationships through photography while also supporting MIJ Hub’s charitable efforts for individuals with special needs.

  • Charity Aspect: Proceeds from the event contributed to MIJ Hub’s educational and employment programs for individuals aged 2 to 30 with special needs.

  • Photography Experience: Families got professionally captured moments in a cozy and well-lit studio environment.

  • Breakdown of funds: From the $250, $150 will go towards MIJ Hub, while $100 will go towards venue, equipment, set design cost.

The event combines professional photography with a meaningful cause, allowing families to create memories while giving back to the community.

Here’s how it’s conducted:

For Takeover! brands will receive the following:

  • 10 x 1 hour slots for 1 full day between 14th - 23rd of March 2025. Sponsors can choose their preferred dates on a first come first served basis.

  • The photoshoot slots can be given to Sponsor’s own families & friends, team members, fans or to their network of charity/needy individuals/families.

  • Sponsors will receive a unique booking link, which can be shared for booking. Sponsors will be responsible for gathering/choosing/selection of 10 families for the 10 slots. Scheduling will be managed online on Colossal Weddings platform.

  • All photography & scheduling will be handled by Colossal Weddings.

  • The entire day will be promoted as “The *SPONSOR’S NAME* Takeover!. Sponsors are encouraged to come down to the studio to create content & engage with the families and have fun together. Food will be catered for breaking of fast for crew & sponsors on sponsored day, provided by Colossal Weddings.

  • Breakdown of funds: From the $250/slot, $150 will go towards MIJ Hub, while $100 will go towards venue, equipment, set design, catering for break fast costs.

  • 1 x Collaboration Instagram Post with logo of sponsor, MIJ Hub & Colossal Weddings, designed by Colossal Weddings, posted 1 day before Sponsor Takeover.

  • 5 x Instastories mentioning sponsor on Colossal Weddings instagram during shoot day.

  • BTS Photography by Colossal Weddings: Full day, Professional behind the scenes photos edited and sent every 2 hours to sponsors for usage on socials: $500 for full day.

  • BTS Videography by Colossal Weddings: Full day, Professional behind the scenes 60sec-90sec video with 2 x interviews, 16:9 or 9:16 format, edited by next day for sponsors usage on socials: $1500
